We confirm your fare and your meeting point by email or WhatsApp. On the day, your driver watches the flight status, so a delay or an early landing changes nothing — someone is waiting for you with a name board when you clear customs. Every vehicle is licensed, air-conditioned and cleaned between jobs, and there is room for suitcases, golf bags, surfboards and baby equipment.

Barbados is compact, but journey times vary far more than the map suggests once Bridgetown traffic and the ABC Highway are involved. As a guide, the South Coast hotels around Worthing, Rockley, Dover and St. Lawrence Gap are 15 to 25 minutes from the terminal. Oistins and Miami Beach are about 15 minutes. Bridgetown and the cruise terminal take around 30 minutes. Holetown, Sandy Lane and the Platinum Coast are 45 minutes, and Speightstown, Mullins and Port St. Charles are 50 to 60 minutes. The east coast at Bathsheba is roughly 40 minutes across the middle of the island.
Taxis in Barbados do not use meters. Fares follow standardised route rates, quoted per vehicle rather than per passenger, which makes a private transfer excellent value for couples, families and groups. Your fare depends on the distance and the vehicle your group needs. Payment is in cash, in either Barbados dollars or US dollars at the fixed rate of BBD $2 to USD $1. We always confirm your exact figure in advance so there is nothing to negotiate at the kerb.
Not every arrival in Barbados comes through the main terminal. We regularly meet private flights at the PAS Jet Centre, the fixed base operator beside Grantley Adams International, where the aircraft parks a short walk from the door and there is no arrivals hall to cross. Send us the tail number or the handler's arrival time and the 13-passenger Hi Ace luxury van is waiting at the departures canopy with the air conditioning already running. The same service works in reverse for departures, including late-night wheels-up times, and it suits villa owners, charter groups and yacht crews joining boats at Port St. Charles.

The airport taxi rank works, but on a busy winter afternoon several wide-body flights can land within the same hour and the queue grows quickly. Pre-booking removes the wait, locks the price, and gives you a driver who already knows your villa's gate code or the awkward turning off Highway 1.
